ATLANTA - Equifax has signed a new contract to provide debit card processing Service Centers Corporation's 110 credit union clients. Equifax will process the nearly 120,000 cardholder accounts of SCC's credit unions. Service Centers Corporation is the only credit-union owned shared branch network in Michigan. "Our member credit unions currently enjoy a 35% annual growth rate for this popular service (debit cards) and with Equifax as our processing partner we expect even more expansion in the debit card field," said Leigh Marciniak, SCC's senior vice president and chief network officer. SCC said its CU's currently do about five million MasterMoney debit card transactions annually.
