National CU Foundation receives $100,000 from U.S. Central

MADISON, Wis. - In a show of support for the mission of the National Credit Union Foundation, U.S. Central Credit Union has contributed $100,000 to the organization.

"U.S. Central Credit Union strongly supports the mission of the National Credit Union Foundation in promoting the financial independence of people everywhere," said Dan Kampen, president/CEO of U.S. Central. "We feel the foundation, as the charitable arm of the credit union movement, represents the philosophy of credit unions well, and we're pleased to support its continued efforts in keeping the `flame burning brightly'."

The NCUF is the credit union movement's primary charitable and fund-raising organization and fosters credit union development in the U.S. and internationally.

A major portion of U.S. Central's contribution will be used to support the foundation's initiative to create an affordable mortgage lending pilot program.
