CU veteran Joseph Brueggemann dies

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Joe Brueggemann, long-time president of St. Louis Teachers Credit Union (now St. Louis Community CU) and Missouri Credit Union League volunteer, died Jan. 27 from complications resulting from injuries he suffered in a fall.

Brueggemann served on the board of the Missouri CU League for many years, and was chairman from 1973 to 1975. He also served on the CUNA board as vice chairman representing District 5 and was secretary from 1981-1985. He was also a member of CUES and the Greater St. Louis Credit Union Managers Association.

Brueggemann is survived by his wife Josephine, a son and daughter.
